We had the sweetest fall tea party recently and ofcourse had to include @americangirldolls . Check out the little tea sets and napkins that coordinate .. so cute!


It was fun planning the details and working within a budget . I was able to keep it super affordable without compromising the theme of the party . So many little details that brought the tea party together and made it a beautiful party๐Ÿ


The leaves made cute place settings by just writing the name of the attendee on it and adding a glittered acorn to the plates. So cute!

Here is a list of all the things I purchased and a full budget to plan your own โฌ‡๏ธ

Doll tea sets with spoons set of 10 10$

Leaves, acorns ,pumpkins 4$

Napkins 3$ ( I cut one napkin to make the doll sized napkins )

Less than 20$ for the decor! I used our tea set and plates and serving items I already had on hand .

Food was mostly from Trader Joeโ€™s and Target . I also made cucumber sandwiches and pumpkin pie was the treat! I spent around 30$ on food .

Total budget with food – 47$

We enjoyed our winter getaway @whitepass . It was the perfect family adventure to get out and enjoy the beautiful mountains and snow. We love White Pass because of how family friendly it is. They offer a variety of different options so that everyone in your family can have a great time. They offer a mix of lessons for all ages , they have 3 carpets that make it easy for our littles that are still learning , they also offer the more difficult runs like black diamond and double black for the expert skiers and snowboarders so no matter where you are there is something for you.

The main Lodge is beautiful and has a variety of yummy food. They also offer a water tap and hot water so you can refill water bottles or add hot water to tea or soup . We always grab a tray of fries for the family to share and they are huge!While the family is munching on fries, I always grab coffee :)

There is also a Nordic Track across the street that offers several routes for Cross Country skiing and snowshoeing. We went and did the Lake Loop at twilight and it was so beautiful!

A few things to note..

You do need a trail pass to do these. They start at $15 Ang go to $35. After 3:30 , itโ€™s doggie hour and after 4 you donโ€™t need a pass but you are on your own.

Disney Photo Shoot Ideas for Senior Pics

My son had his own personal photo shoot right in the middle of Galaxyโ€™s Edge which was so cool!!


We were doing his Senior Trip @disneyland and knew we wanted some of his Senior pics taken there. Thanks to the amazing PhotoPass Photographers Team @disneyland that made that dream a reality. The Photographers were so creative and had lots of ideas to bring the pics to life! We loved how they stayed in character as they did the photoshoot.

Here are the details on the photopassโฌ‡๏ธ

โญ๏ธ It is part of the Genie โž•.. so for around $30 a day you get all day pics ,lightening lane on select attractions and audio tales from behind the scenes including fun facts of the park . Definitely the best value!

This is such a fun way to take special pics and either option is so affordable!!

Harvesting Leeks

We harvested leeks from our garden this weekend and to say I was overjoyed is an understatement! We have tried to grow them before with no results and then this years harvest was amazing!ย 

.

We were able to fill the freezer with chopped leeks to add to one of our favorite soups .. leek and potato.. Yumm! 

.

The part of the leek that is generally harvested is the white bulb part, but that left all the leaves and so I wanted to know if I could use those . 

.

I was happy to find out they can be used to make stock and there are several recipes where they roasted them. We chose to try adding them to stock.
