Disneyland Hotel Reviews

Pixar Place Hotel

Entrance to the Pixar Place Hotel

Pixar Place Hotel is only a few months old but is absolutely beautiful! . It opened in January 2024 and was originally the Paradise Pier Hotel.
.

The hotel is full of art and sketches of some of your favorite Pixar characters. There are hidden Mickeys in the ceiling lights and hidden Pixar characters added to the floors .. so look up and down as you venture through on your way to the parks . There is also an “Up” inspired elevator .. so cool!

The Pixar Place Hotel is also one of the more affordable Disneyland Hotels so what’s not to like? Beautiful, fun and affordable! Oh and it has its own secret entrance into California Adventure..yay!!

Let us know if you have stayed here and your thoughts! Did you love the remodel into Pixar theme or miss the Paradise one?

Tropicana Inn & Suites

On our most recent trip to Disneyland we decided to try staying Tropicana Inn & Suites.

Right off we were impressed with the price and location. It is located right across from Disneyland & offers Annualpassholder discounts. So for 3nights 4 days we payed $580 including all taxes.

Upon arrival, we had a valet ,Jay,come out and unload all our bags cheerfully and put them on a cart. Then Louis checked us in at the front desk. I must mention that we arrived around 11am and when checking in Louis informed us our room was ready. What a blessing! We were expecting to check our bags and go in the park but instead we were able to go and unload everything in our room and freshen up.

Seeing the room for the first time our impression was clean and crisp. We loved the mural on the wall ,the room was clean upon inspection and even the toilet paper was prepped ready to go for new guest. We loved the complimentary colors of blue and orange and the space the room provided. We could have easily fit our whole family in here.

The room comes with a microwave & refrigerator and a coffee pot. I’m not sure if all rooms have the extra space by the bathroom but we loved it to put our luggage out of the way.

Some other perks of staying here we found was the complimentary noon checkout. With that extra hour we were able to go back into the park for breakfast & shopping ,then headed back to pack.. what a blessing!

There is also a mini market on the property where you can buy coffee, soda and pretty much anything you would need with the prices a little less then you will find in the parks.

If your planning a trip to Disneyland then definitely consider Tropicana Inn & Suites as a wonderful option that is located right across from the park.

Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim Resort

When we decided to do our first trip to Disneyland w/o kids we knew two things we were wanting.. close proximity and a king size bed. We decided to book Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim Resort and upgraded to the premium King.
The location was great! It was located behind a Panera bread and on the corner across from Disneyland.
When we arrived, we wanted to check our bags so we could head straight to the parks. This took a little longer then we planned but finally we were off to parks. Once our room was ready we received a text letting us know.
The room was beautiful and had vinyl wood floors which was different from other hotels in area and we actually loved it. The full wall photo was gorgeous and our favorite part of the room. The bed was super comfortable and the water was always hot so those were pros for us.
What we did not know when booking was this is not a typical Fairfield hotel. It is more of a motel style where the door opens to the outside not a hallway. We also had booked the premium king room with fireworks but what that meant is you walk out of room and stand in walkway to see fireworks so that was a definite con.
A big pro for us on this hotel was the customer service. When we went to get our room key we met Bernie who made our experience at this resort over the top! Not only was she warm and genuine but she also engaged us in conversation and found out we were celebrating our anniversary. Later that evening when we returned to the room there was a treat and balloons waiting on us❤️
Overall we would stay here again if we could get the room for a great price. We felt $250 a night was overpriced for what you actually receive but if it was $150 or below we would book it.

Best Western Plus Park Place Inn

We recently stayed at the @bestwestern in Anaheim called the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn.It is one of Disneyland’s “Good Neighbor” Hotels.

.

One of the first things we loved was the sticker on the door certifying it was clean and ready .

Upon entering , we were pleasantly surprised. Since our last stay a few years ago the rooms had been remodeled and had a nice clean, crisp feel.

The rooms come with a good size fridge and with a coffee maker and supplies .

Some of the things we really loved were the door between our two rooms that we could open  to go back and forth. The beds and couch were comfortable and we all woke up feeling refreshed

Connecting door to adjoining room

Oh and this  hotel is directly across from @disneyland!!!That is an amazing perk of staying at this property.

There is also a bagged breakfast to go that included a pastry, orange and bottled water you can pick up as you walk to the park.

The price point was great as well! We paid less then a 100$ a night off season but with the parks opened now the prices can range. We would stay here again if the price was under $200.It’s a great value for the location and room and it easily fits a family of 5 or larger with the connecting door between the rooms✨
