Starting the Year Slowly: Rest, Prayer, and Intentional Living

Is it ever too late to reset the year ?

Absolutely not.

Month one is behind us, and February arrives with pink hearts, quiet reflection, and space to breathe.

I’m thankful I chose rest over rushing—soaking in family moments, friendships, and prayer before jumping into plans and goals.

Instead of sprinting into 2026, I slowed down and asked God to guide every step. That pause changed everything.

Are you easing into the year… or racing ahead? Either way, may this year be filled with moments worth treasuring ❤️

Waking up to Beauty

I could wake up to this beauty every day ❤️ Even though you can’t see it , there was snow on the ground and the air was so crisp. I literally had to step carefully to not slip on ice on the deck.
.
So thankful to get to be in this moment .. hot coffee in hand at a beautiful home with the Columbia George in full view and laughter and chatting all around me.
.
Here’s to a year of many more memories like this❤️

Spring Refresh 🌷

I’m loving how this picket fence side board turned out. It has served our family in many ways .. dessert table…party favor center…trail mix station.
.
For this season, I am using it as Goal planning area. I have my @cultivatewhatmatters Goal planner open to the areas I’m working on cultivating in my home and life. I also have some of the tools there to easily grab and use like a Bible, recipe books ,planners, and encouraging verses/signs to visually encourage me toward the areas I’m working on cultivating.
.
Ofcourse, there are also items for the littles like gum and some of our @chatbooks to encourage us as a family to set time aside to plan adventures.
.
It has been a wonderful way to have the items where I can see them on a daily basis .
